Dearest Miyang Marie,

I've been praying - sometimes more than my own needs - about the situation in Gaza and modern Israel, hoping, my loveliest love, for an end to the violence.

So many have been killed - most of them civilians, innocent men, women and children - these people who have been lost to us in our midst care not about partisan rhetoric, their lives must be accounted for - lest we reap the wrath that is to come - justice as a virtue is about restoration and so it demands that we listen to their hopes - for it is their hopes that always endure with us where their lives are no longer are with us in this time and place - make their hopes our own and then carry it all through - together, shoulder to shoulder - building momentum in time, from our hearts into the one reality of our own times - for them, for the nameless who are nameless no more.

I have been pondering deeply about the losses inflicted to our shared humanity - on both sides - as well as the fears shared by the living - on both sides - for it troubles me more than anything else, my loveliest love. Because it reminds me of you in your own times, my darlingest, and the night-time bombardments that you and your loved ones have had to endure in your own time here on this inhabited earth. And matter did it all to you, my loveliest love, that these were Allied bombers doing the bombing? I know that fear because of the love that I know in God in you, my darlingest Miyang Marie - and it is a fear that no child, no woman, no man on this inhabited earth has had to endure where the will of God and the will of earth is closer in this one reality than what it is today.

During Mass just this last Sunday, my loveliest love, I can't help but look at mothers and their children who were with me in Church and my mind kept drifting towards the Middle East, towards Gaza and modern Israel. Every child I see here often reminds me of every child I know in my heart suffers the curse of war in the Middle East. It is why I have this hatred of war, my loveliest love - war as a beast is the bane of all our nations' most basic of all hopes to build on creation and by doing so, to effect the liberation of as many souls as possible to God through God for God.

It is also your hope, my love, isn't it? That hatred of the Jewish people should cease - which is the same as to say that the hatred that exists between each and every one of our nations should cease to exist - for this hatred has its roots in war as a paradigm whole - for all hatred that becomes meaningless where charity is concerned is the hate that burns in the reprobate heart of all that stands to serve not the life of this creation and by so doing refuse to obey the one Creator of all creation. Should we allow for one segment of our one whole humanity to become vulnerable to war, the same as if a sheet of paper when lit by fire shall soon turn into ashes, we would all soon be consumed by a raging hatred that cares not what divisions we have come to believe divides the one whole upon wholes, for this hatred only cares about consuming all in all: For what war does to one, war does to all.

Where we to understand the roots of war - perhaps, we would be better prepared to effect the hopes that so many of its victims have left for us in our own time - for to break this siege is an imperative of this present generation of human beings, the next one after this and those elder generations who are so inclined to join in this striving with us - it is an imperative because war is the main siege that needs to be broken before we could address the other more vital issues that is plaguing our nations as well as our one planetary whole at this time - all towards the hope of reaping the greater benefits of the new age that is already dawning upon our poor world.

And the Middle East is at the fulcrum, it is the center of gravity, where we all - as the one family of the nations of mankind - find ourselves directed by the reality of the times.

To bring justice to the losses - on both sides - of this conflict, there is no better way than to advance forward the peace process - heal the division within the one people of unborn Palestine, and effect a unified authority that would represent with justice, nobility and right intention, the nameless, suffering Palestinians who deserve - on behalf of their own undertaking of Country, an undertaking whose intrinsic hopes even now, they are bravely living and dying to make their own - the love and protection of their own responsible state.

This nobility of the common, nameless people should never be lost us in our poor world and should always be in the minds of those who represent the people in every Republic.

This peace process must also serve the good interests of the nameless, suffering Israeli people - human beings - who deserve, after 2000 years of insecurity, to live in the security of their own nation, under their own right and honorable state, working their own labor of Country in peace - shoulder to shoulder, specifically with the nation of Palestine whose right to exist we are currently striving to effect - and in general with all the other nations of mankind to whom she belongs with and of whom she is a vital and necessary contributing part of.

Not to embrace the hopes of both of these nations in their hour of great need is only an appeasement to war and to appease war is to endanger the future of all our nations.

We do not need to be able to see far into the future for us to realize the great value of peace in our times. We could leave behind all religious considerations and still come to the same convictions - why? Because all caring human hearts know that life - all of life - is a precious thing to waste. Why? Because God wrote that as a law in our hearts.

I love you, my Miyang.

Always to always,

Pusing
