20090529

*Miyang, my dear darlingest, I wrote this entry yesterday night. It is originally dated 20090528 but since I do not have an Internet connection at home, I had had to wait till now - the evening of 20090529 - to post it here on our Planet Annelies. I have dated it accordingly at the time of its posting.

Dear darlingest Annemiyang Marie,

Old Defiant

You know, my love, today is Flag Day here in the Philippines. It is not a very prominent holiday over here, I guess, because I only found this out today.

I was reading a paper published by a local savings coop when I chanced on an article about the Battle of Alapan which occurred in our history this day, the 28th of May, 1898.

I have an affinity for our Flag, and you know that, my love, and it can not escape my heart that I had to find out about Flag day here in the Philippines exactly on this particular day, Flag day of 2009.

Serendipity indeed is Providence Itself speaking directly to hearts made attentive to Its teachings.

The nickname which I call have come to know our Flag, "Old Defiant", has deep resonance in our present times and where we to realize this today, we will be able to appreciate more, the roots of our Flag in our own history.

A clearer appreciation of Old Defiant this day, two weeks and a day before our Independence Day (which is incidentally also your birthday, my loveliest love), this coming 12th of June, I believe will help our one Filipino nation better understand who we are as a people.

"Why?", you might ask, my darlingest dear.

Well, let me tell you that it has been the great dream of all Filipinos to be truly free; to become independent.

"Independent from what?", I ask back: From each other? From other nations and their good? From the laws that preserve the public peace? From social responsibility? From human morality?

You see, without a Flag to gather us together as one nation - present to each other in the now as well as being that particular undertaking of Country unfolding in time - independence, its act and its object mean very, very little to me.

I know our Flag to be "Old Defiant" because I have seen it, in my mind's eye, defy those things that we should - as a people - by universal rights be independent from - poverty, despair and war - but most especially war, my love, most especially war.

War that is global in scope, as I have previously written to you, is a very significant evolution in the nature of this beast - "beast" meaning to say, the spirit of war as a whole. It has become a global paradigm of which our only viable defense is a complete turning away from the darkness eastward into the morning ward direction of the one whole peace.

Because war was from heaven thrown down, it must on earth be denied. And gathered within the sacred remembrances of all our nations, we are at this present time called to awaken and individually draw from the contrast of 2000 years, the distinctions by which we shall as a humanity, for better or for worse, shape the lasting nature of the coming age.

We must turn into each other in peace and together move away from war as a one family of the nations of Mankind. Indeed, there are other challenges that await only the regental presence of our humanity to join together as those greater wholes with the will to meet them and we can not establish those greater wholes if the greatest whole available to us is over run by the spirit of war. And indeed, these days, our one planetary whole is over run by the beast of war.

War has made our nations strangers to each other, forgetful of each their foundations for being; its dark spirit of division has driven a wedge deep into our humanity so that we, as human beings, are becoming more and more estranged from our own native humanity.

As a result, our whole planet is suffering, its systems meant by our one common Creator to sustain life is in a state of rapid deterioration (in planetary terms) and the obvious signs of these are everyday all around us.

We only have one planet, one inhabited earth that each our nations have been together called by covenant to raise from the darkness of an unknown earth, one greatest of wholes available to the regental authority of our shared humanity, one home away from Home - and this home is at present existentially threatened by war and its siege.

The Abrahamic Charter

And so, my loveliest love, how do we respond down the lines of the wholes from the perspective of a nation, a nation like my beloved Filipino nation?

By the way, a nation that is a nation through internal, spiritual lines of descent is a nation that is more apt to endure the challenges of these times and then reap the rewards of the new age than a nation that seeks to know its own reality purely through external, corporal states of being.

For "race", as it were, is truly only a relational thing but "spirit" is an inherent truth within all the peoples of Mankind.

Spirit is the breath by which we as human beings hope and the hope by which we as peoples of the world have come to breathe together as a nation: This means motion more than external appearances; action more than utterances.

Therefore, we shall define a Filipino to be a heart that loves the Filipino nation as a whole, in time and in eternity.

Now, every nation also contains within itself other wholes which align in synergy with each other to complete the commonweal of Country.

Of these wholes, the city is the basic functional unit which is capable of producing a self-sustaining economy that exists within and draws from the greater economy of Country.

A city itself also contains lesser wholes which also align in synergy with each other to preserve the individual good and sustain the common good of the citizenry who reside, work or is otherwise present within its limits.

These lesser wholes are the barangays as well as any intermediate zones of necessary cooperation between those barangays under the city government.

Because we now consider a city as the basic functional unit of a nation, we shall in the spirit of Old Defiant respond by adapting a charter which is consistent with that city as a whole and relevant to the cause of peace - meaningful and sustainable - the one peace which is the Abrahamic peace: An Abrahamic Charter of the City of Miyangersjia.

If, let us say for the moment, each Abrahamic faith constitute a third of heaven, then it can not be whole by anything else but as all three joined together as one firmament with all people of good will.

We must indeed be ever mindful that just as our shattered sky becomes the void, to permit divisions to fracture a whole at anytime constitute a surrender once again into the descendant darkness of the gravity of war.

Now, the title of the city, "Miyangersjia", my loveliest love, is a personal preference of mine and is in no wise anything more than that - it has however a very meaningful significance that can only be grasped by those who know and have become closely acquainted with all that we have been working towards as human beings.

"Miyangersjia" as a conceptual Abrahamic city shall be a sister city to the city of Jerusalem.

The establishment of a strategic secondary capital city in our present days have become a viable answer to the problem of attenuation in the executive will within a nation that is becoming sufficiently aware of itself.

Therefore, we shall explore the concept of this city of Miyangersjia as a strategic secondary capital to our primary capital city of Manila.

I am of the conviction that the three stars of Old Defiant allows for one capital and two secondary capital cities for each of those stars.

Because the Republic by itself is sufficient but the structures within this framework must be capable of evolving with the Liberty of the people.

The two main islands of Luzon and Mindanao and the Visayas main islands provide the Philippines as a Country with great administrative potential because in only a few other undertakings of Country (Greece and Indonesia) is represented the challenges of such wide and diverse geography.

Now, the charter shall include a way of assistance for citizens who are willing to work their way from poor to middle class. We shall do this by encouraging and enabling active participation in cooperative efforts developed for and launched by the city.

Lines of continuity shall be distinctly upheld in that the Office itself shall take on more significance than the elected officer. The Office being understood as a whole as one entire lineage of persons that should in each their own present turn take the city from strength to strength, unto prosperity, unto posterity and unto the Last Day.

The Four Faithful Causes, the Social Exercises and the Honorable Intentions of the one Majority shall be adapted into the city charter.

The provision to raise an Abrahamic Home Guard unit shall also be included in the city charter.

The Abrahamic Home Guard (the one Guard or the Abrahamic Guard): A Very Brief Outline

"...God posted an angel at the east side of the garden of Eden with a flaming sword that kept turning to guard the way..."

Genesis 3: 24

The mission of the one Guard is represented by the posture of the angel that guards the eastward way to Eden - to man - the way towards the tree of life - to our nations - the way of the one peace.

The one Guard itself is represented by the flaming sword that kept turning in all directions - a force primarily fielded to defend from all sides the rebuilding of those cities whose Eden have become lost to war.

Therefore, the universal insignia of the one Guard is a flaming sword or a six-winged, seraphic sword.
---<--@

The Abrahamic Home Guard is a all-volunteer, professional military outfit composed of citizen-soldiers that is much like the US National Guard in organization but is possessed with a very specific nature which is unique only to it.

The native command structure of the Abrahamic Guard follows that of the active military of which highest authority is always a civilian executive.

It has two roles, as a stability force, specialized in the conduct of the defense, when in active deployment and as a home defense force when it is stationed at its home city.

Deployed in Peace operations, the one Guard acts as a stability force in support of coalition or allied Maneuver Forces under the direct authority of the coalition theater commander.

Its center of gravity shall be the designated city of its sphere of active area responsibility.

I have already defined the necessary characteristics of a stability force in a previous entry on our main blog, my loveliest love.

Command of the Abrahamic Home Guard as a home defense force require that the necessary assessment of the needs of the situation be made and understood:

When stationed at its home city, the one Guard is its home defense force engaged in civil defense operations under the city government.

When necessary it shall work in cooperation with other one Guard units in support of the provincial whole right up to the greatest possible whole which are Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as wholes in themselves.

In civil defense operations above the city level, all those Abrahamic Guard units that are likewise engaged shall as a whole fall under the authority of the provincial government and then under the DILG which shall take command of its activities above the provincial level.

When deployed in support of the civil defense operations of ASEAN or our allies, it shall fall under command of the provost marshal or the composite commander of that deployment force.

It is also a reserve force in support of our active military defense forces in times of national military emergencies (involving the national whole) at which time, it shall follow the DoD chain of command with the president as its highest commander-in-place.

Every commander-in-place is a designate officer in charge of a command responsibility within the Abrahamic Home Guard - these officers, military or civilian in the executive chain of command, are individuals who must be constantly aware that the operation of the one Guard is not exclusively secular in nature and that the one Guard once established is part of the fulfillment of the Abrahamic promise to bless the communities of Mankind and have a responsibility to answer to the one Almighty as the highest source of morality.

There are mission-specific elements that is native to the responsibility of the one Guard which are always in effect:

It is charged with the protection (alongside local law enforcement) of holy places of worship (synagogues, churches and mosques as well as places of honorable religion), Abrahamic clergy (Judaic, Christian and Islamic), all teachers of every honorable religion, and all persons of good will within each established sphere of active responsibility who are likewise engaged in humanitarian operations in support of the rebuilding of the peace and the defense of sacred life, above all human life.

If it should ever become necessary, all Abrahamic Guard units have a common and intrinsic responsibility as a whole to defend the cities of Jerusalem, the Vatican, Mecca and Medina from invasion - as these cities must be kept pristine and untrammeled until the Last Day, for without these cities, the existence of the one Guard itself comes into peril.

Twilight Pawprints

The exploitation of human needs give rise to systems of evil or as the late, great JPII said, "structures of sin" - and these in their own turn support false economies that bind the helpless into itself.

Now, the greatest of these false economies is human trafficking but also includes (and is not limited to) prostitution, pornography, piracy and illicit drugs.

False economies feed on the desperate and in turn create more despair. It is the exact opposite of the real economy of common Country which empower the hopeful and in turn create more hope.

Despair when it becomes prevalent among the people opens the way for those social sins that when fed into those systems of evil, in its turn paves the way for the spirit of war to mature and effect the gradual disintegration of our human families, human communities, and entire human nations.

Measures to combat these false economies require an understanding of not only law enforcement but also of the morality of human need which when it is sufficiently understood allow us to attack the evil at its roots.

My darlingest dear, "Pawprints", we envision shall be a media production company that supports a charity dedicated to providing people a place in the real economy of our nations.
---<--@

We shall begin this by creating greeting card products that specifically target the contact points between nation and state; the effective dialogue of every Country of which well-being is called patriotism in the people.

We shall work to encourage this dialogue, my loveliest love, between the people and the state through printed material and initially we shall do this again by creating the appropriate greeting cards.

Also, we shall target the national morale and create inspirational material that is native to the Philippine experience.

We shall create material that encourage and reinforce our Abrahamic message in the people which is peace and the promise of peace.

We shall create material that encourage and reinforce the recovery process of those working their way apart and away from things that are false such as pornography, prostitution, drugs, alcoholism, destructive gambling, etc.

I've already researched some parts of the greeting card aspect of the initial product that we are going to work on in "Pawprints", my loveliest love. I just need to visualize the product itself.

Much further down the course of Pawprints, I should like to see it branch out from printed materials to other forms of media communication - audio, software as well as film. It is not beyond me to write a script for any of those things - so long as I keep in our LORD's good graces, and so long as I have you as my darlingest, cutesiest, most purrrtiest friend, my loveliest love, I shall be much, much inspired, for good things do come to those who wait and pray, I know, my Miyang, you came to me - and you stayed.

I realize that Planet Annelies might no longer have retained its private nature, my loveliest love, and so might have to withhold - for practical reasons - the exact nature of some things specific to Pawprints as a business undertaking. I hope you understand, my loveliest love. I keep no secrets from you - how can I? This is not the only communication that we have with each other anyway.

---<--@

I also need to come up with a mission statement and vision for the company as a whole, my darlingest dear, those plus other relevant things such as an invitation to invest, a presentation letter, as well as the company values that shall eventually shape its own work and management culture.

Of those work values, we shall only need to draw from those values that are already formed from our experiences within Planet Annelies: Life. Humanity. Friendship. Progress.

The logo would of course be a pawprint or two sets of pawprints moving on an eastward direction, I am also not yet sure on the graphic, my darlingest dear, but I should like to make it light and colorful (the color palette would be that of a dawning sky) without losing its meaningfulness to us.

As Pawprints is an actual business venture, my loveliest love, and shall therefore, be particularly concerned with the economy of material things and as you and I both would like that this particular accounting entity be built around the charity* whose foundation cause it shall exist to serve, we should very much rather start with those who are willing to believe in it and who are ready to build it with me, materially (investment) but also immaterially (business advice, good will and moral support) as regards to this very specific undertaking that we are also establishing for God and Country.

*Anne's Hope for Humanity or Anne's Hope (your own hope to help our needful Mankind, my loveliest love, that you expressed to me which is now our hope together) operating under the Pax Caelestis Trust established for it.

And so with a specific view on Pawprints, we shall draw first from our own immediate family and family friends and then from my own friends who are my batch mates at school (St. Andrew's) and then outward.

To the people of Mindanao of the one Republic of the Philippines

I know there is promise in Mindanao, a rich promise - if only peace would finally arrive in the hearts of the people of Mindanao.

Therefore, I should like to encourage the people of Mindanao, my loveliest love, who are much sorely grieved by the presence of war in their midst.

The one Republic of the Philippines can not continue in its course without that one star upon our Old Defiant being lit aglow by the golden promise of peace in this land and the blessings of peace settle amidst the good people who live and work to build upon our Mindanao.

Most of our work, my loveliest love, the one Solidarity, the one Majority, the one Guard, even Pawprints are elements that can be applied in Mindanao towards the end for which these means are intended to achieve - peace and the prosperity of peace for the one Filipino nation and all other nations of the one family of the nations of Mankind who are in each themselves - in their own way - in need of that same peace, that one peace.

For no nation upon this inhabited earth is meant to be mediocre. Each and every one must eventually come to a realization that it is possessed with the greatest undertaking of Country in all of creation and where this truth is born upon each of our nations under the sign of peace, then it would all equally hold true in the heart of each and every one of these, our nations of the one family of the nations of Mankind. Only war seeks to divide the good not to share it but to destroy it.

I can not emphasize enough the vital importance of peace in our world that at present faces an existential threat from the spirit of war. The breaking of its siege laid for centuries upon our nearly exhausted nations lies not in opposing the beast but in denying it a place in our hearts and therefore in our lives and therefore in our times.

And so we must apply this here and now where we are as a nation and as a whole and its most direct application, I personally am convinced, in the context of this, our one Republic of the Philippines is found upon the rising of that star in our Old Defiant, Mindanao, to make our Country whole again in God.

Every particular experience of conflicts bred under the sign of the beast of war should after a time, times and half-a-time, if a nation is meant to endure, make distinct that choice for peace - because remembrance is the substance of our nations and a nation bereft of its own remembrance is a nation lost to a people who can not hope to tarry in this midnight world.

But I believe in my Filipino nation and hold to the same hope for all those nations of our shattered planetary whole who are of good will, even though their words might say otherwise what their hearts intend to communicate, I believe in their endeavor of Country as the greatest alongside mine which is also the greatest in all the universe. We can not be a family if we fail to have hope for each other without fail and as far as humanly possible.

And since we are bound by our LORD by covenant to be a family of nations, we may also now know that the way of peace is the only way to bring down the blessings of heaven upon our nations and healing upon this one earth.

And so we are left with a choice, my loveliest love, a choice that we are all each required to make who are called of God and of Country to deliver the promise of peace made by our LORD to our Father Abraham of old which is a promise that the numberless stars shall as one whole firmament bless the needful communities of Mankind.

At no other time in our history are we in need of this promise than we are as a planetary whole at this present time and in this present generation.

Upon this background of the greater wholes is the peace of Mindanao to be established and upon the hope of many lives, past, present and future, are we to draw strength and momentum to make this blossom into reality for our one Republic.
---<--@

Let me confirm in all of you,
my dear people of Mindanao,
what I know is already instilled
within each of your heart of hearts -
believe with conviction of faith
that there is no hope in war:

We are a nation, my dear people,
by battle born and bred
but never shall we attain to victory
if we allow war to rule our way.

So raise that Old Defiant -
rally to the calling of peace!

Know once again, O my nation,
O you people of Mindanao,
what it means to labor
from hope to hope
and to build
from strength to strength;
let us awaken each ourselves -
stir our hearts unto sacred remembrance -
at every present and from every past
unto those freedoms cherished
unto that prosperity dreamed about
under the waving of that banner
that Old Defiant -
of this, our one Republic,
our home away from Home.
---<--@

My dear darlingest, I have to go for now.

It is now the morning of the 29th and its a Friday. I have promised you before that we shall go gallivanting and I shall make up for that promise today. We two cats always find a way to have fun, as I always say, don't we, my Mrrrowley, my Mrrrowley Polly. Oh, I love you so much.

We still have to work on that post on Friendship which is a requisite to other posts, dedicate Arcs in the Sky to the Path, work on a prayer for priests and also pray for a broader understanding of the Mid-east Peace.

Always to always,

Pusing

P.S.

By the way, my loveliest love, I have no desire to run for anything but the race that our LORD has set before me with you. And I am happy to contribute to the good of the one Republic of my beloved Philippines. Anything more than that apart from those immediate things we are working on right now, my love, such as Pawprints, etc., has not yet occurred to me yet.

There is a sex video scandal brewing at the moment, my dear, that involves - of course, a guy and a girl, and I really feel for the girl who I think is always on the losing side of any issue that calls into question the morality of the sexes. We have to advise our Starshine well, on this point.

20090523

Dear darlingest Annelies Marie,

A Country that dares to be great -

No nation in this world is meant to be mediocre. For a mediocre nation is a nation without a vision; born to a people left without their dreaming.

Dark may our recent history been for the last two thousand years as the ebb and flow tides of war and peace gave us witness to the rise of the most cruel tyrannies and the most abominable acts of inhumanity that caused the demise of entire civilizations not entirely evil in themselves not because our humanity as a whole is evil but because war itself as a whole is an evil beast.

The spirit of war and the gravity of its descent has defined for our inhabited earth, the landscape of our sacred remembrances and from the ashes of those many fallen of our nations, kindred to our shared humanity, and the memory of those nations themselves who have become lost to us, the nations of every present time have like the Phoenix arisen, one by one, born and bred in the pains of battle, crying out to the one Sovereign of all nations for a freedom that is necessary, each one dreaming that persistent dream within our native humanity; of a happiness that is lasting, even one that is everlasting; a vision of happiness gathered from a freedom that binds unto peace and unto the prosperity of peace; a freedom born from those choices distinct from that freedom which binds unto war and unto the oppression of war.

For it is not the ambition of Mankind to be happy. This happiness is the ambition of God and the divine mandate of all of heaven. For that happiness which is the ancient pursuit of Mankind is never a happiness which is within our reach in this present world.

Happiness being one of the highest motives that our humanity possess, must be a happiness defined by the greatest of all human ambition which is freedom and freedom being the noblest of all human causes is not false which leads the seeking in our humanity to the realization of freedom itself along the way of truth that is sought and the remembrance of true things.

This freedom IS the central cause of our nations and this cause is never a mediocre cause.

For upon this cause of freedom, we find at every present time, our nations and their responsible states, singularly engaged in each their vital undertaking of Country, striving with blood, sweat and tears to build up the earth, as commanded by our LORD and enrich our common markets by defining through the experience of common community, the bonds of sacred trust that makes each of us belong to each other as nations distinct from each other within and amongst the one family of the nations of Mankind.

And as these nations, each with our own responsible limits and boundaries, lineages of Country, and particular vision and path toward common destiny, we have been established since the cause of our freedom was from the gates of our faded Eden established by the changeless will of Almighty God, our one common Creator.

Therefore, it is truth indeed that each of our nations, inaugurated as one covenant whole through the holy Patriarch Noah, have but one eternal ambition: To make all men, women and children of needful Mankind free.

This is our necessary freedom. It defines the path of each our nations as a covenant family of Mankind joined together as a community of wholes upon wholes, each as their own particular undertaking of Country moving in time in the now, from present to present hope, and fighting from outcome to outcome, across the lines and the lineages of our generations towards the awakening of that dream of happiness that makes the heart of our humanity truly free.

And as citizens so that we may understand to love more brightly our Republic endeavor, we must know that it is love and the things that belong to love (kindness, compassion and virtue) that is the cause by which we, as individual human beings, are made free.

For in embracing what is in love sought, we are come to a remembrance of the truth of ourselves as human beings and so learn to give and to share in God's giving that our hearts may come to an individual understanding that it is in the giving that we truly become free.

For all our nations, and for two thousand years, we have in the shadow of those preceding ages seen in our collective history the stark contrast between darkness and light, war and peace and like the sharp relief between stars and the night sky, if we realize in ourselves the importance of placing ourselves in the landscape of each our own sacred remembrances of Country knowing now that what we choose this day, and every day, as individual citizens, no matter how little it may all seem to us, matters much to help make the dreaming in our nations great - if not for the first time, yet again and even more so this time around.

For no nation in this world is meant to be mediocre and we are a nation entrusted with a vision; born to a people who dares in our dreaming greatly, to defy* the beast of war.
---<--@

*Now, we shall understand why our flag is called, "Old Defiant".

I still have to proof read that, my darlingest, before it goes to post in the one Majority.

As you know, my loveliest love, I am desirous to contribute to the well-being of the Republic that provides for and gives shelter to my one Filipino nation. This among other things which I should like to discuss with you soon. We are still on track, my love, I should also like to work on those things I need to work on with you that we have put down in our recent entries.

Before the above, my loveliest love, I have written a post for the one Majority two days ago:

A Nation Distinct -

OUR NATION,
my dear friends, is a nation distinct from all of the other nations of the one family of the nations of Mankind.
---<--@

Therefore, were we to love this one Filipino nation as a whole, embracing past, present and future, we must break free of those old ways of thinking that we, as an endeavor of Country, is an imitation of anything other than our own timeless vision of our selves as an ascended nation, an Eternal Philippines.

It is easy to fall into those old ways of thinking. To compare this, our one nation and its responsible state to other nation-states, whole in themselves, and to become bitter finding from none of them, the image of ourselves as we are meant to be in time and across time.

My dear friends, all of you whose hearts identify with the aspirations of the one Majority, it is time to get firmly acquainted with ourselves as a nation, one, whole and distinct from all of the other nations of the one family of the nations of Mankind.

It is time to complete our remembrances and bring our hopes forward and into the momentum of future things. And this is the season to do it, my dear Filipino compatriots, upon this inhabited earth and under heaven, now is the time for the building up of our one Republic, strong for being faithful to the vision of itself, defiant against war, and worthy of its calling to serve under the eternal vigilance of Almighty God as a guardian forever to our orphaned people.

This Republic will work if we learn to know it and to know it, we must learn to accept who we are and the vision of who we must become, together in the course of our hope, unfolding in time, united in God and Country, across our generations unto the Last Day.

Let us be mindful that we are a democracy and in a democracy, nobody loses out in an election - IF those elections were held with honesty and integrity.

Everybody here is on the same boat - an ark of Country - and were this Republic to disintegrate to a point of dissolution, it would most certainly be to the eternal regret of all.

My friends, it is vital that we work together as a nation, a human nation, O my beloved Filipinos. I, for one, believe in this work, our work, this, our one undertaking of Country, our one Republic of the Philippines.

So get yourselves registered to vote, all of you whose hearts believe with the same conviction as I believe and let us retake this, our one vital undertaking of Country - together, in friendship and in community with each other - from the waning of the darkness of the past and bring it all back again into the light of our present remembrance, of ourselves as a nation and of our noble endeavor of Country, under the eternal vigilance of the one Almighty, on behalf of those generations of Filipinos to come.
---<--@

Also, we shall attempt to invite people of like mind and hearts to become team members to write with me on the one Majority.

Our Muning has a new website which I still have to fully explore. I really do admire her for her substance, my loveliest love.

I love you, my darlingest dear, you're my Mrrrowley Polly.

Always to always,

Pusing

20090521

Dear darlingest Annelies Marie,

My darlingest, I just need a little time to regroup. I feel sad about what happened again over the weekend on the personal front. But I know that, having gone with me for this long, my love, that all those old problems shall soon fall away behind us - we just need to stick with our friendships long enough and be the constant light to each other that God intends us to be, my love, my Mrrrowley.

And I am sure that things will be better on the personal front for me, my loveliest love, because whenever I feel close to giving up on those familiar sins that haunt me, those are the times that you seem to never let me go that I know that you never will allow me to slip again into despair.

I know we have responsibilities much larger than our own selves these days, my Miyang and we shall also make headway there - for peace. For things on both fronts can not go back to the way things are this far down the road, we've worked so hard to get here, my loveliest love, and these setbacks are just those, setbacks.

I just need more prayers that I may gather myself back again enough to get back on track.

I love you so much.

Always to always,

Pusing

20090516

Dear darlingest Annelies Marie,

Yesterday was the fiesta day at our local parish in honor of Saint Isidore the Laborer. It has provided me with much graces and so there are things about that day yesterday that we shall be putting down here, my darlingest dear, on our planet Annelies.

One of the significant things that come to my mind right now about that day yesterday was how the temptation to feel "out of place" within that parish community came upon the door of my heart. It was telling me that I do not belong there - basically, trying to lie to me in my soul that my Holy Mother Church is not composed of wholes ascending in glorious praise and radiant exaltation with all the other greater wholes as a one whole heaven and earth to our one LORD of all creation but were just mere momentary fragments divided by the gravity of their descent into the darkness of division, discord, dilution and dissolution.

For an instant, I felt confused - the Devil was trying to convince me to leave - but then my Lord Christ asked my heart, "have you not prayed together - many, many times - with all of these, your beloved brethren and sisters, in this house of God, my love?" And all things became clear again to the eye of my heart: I belong to this parish and even though I do feel that I am transient here, I - together with all the Catholic laity - belong to all parishes, all dioceses and all particular churches within the one communion of the Roman Catholic Church and I personally would that I am able to pray in and with all of them in person as I always do in spirit.

Because the grace of our Lord have worked to realize in me that love for my old hometown and our old parishes over there where I was baptized and where I went with my family even as a child, it does not have to mean my love can ever be divided for the capital city of my LORD in eternity established in my heart is a one and undivided whole forever.

But more than this, this spirit of unity and of peace belongs to all of blessed Christendom who as one liturgy of life must with the other flock of our Lord in all people of good will (particularly in close affinity with all of our kindred grace in the Abrahamic faiths of Judaism and Islam) turn the face of our shared humanity from darkness into light, sanctify the hopes of our nations from war into peace and to, here and now, establish in this, our generation and in the next one after this, this one great promise of hope for ourselves and for all of the generations of life to come after us.

The Devil fled, my darlingest dear, for the time being content with leaving us alone.

Today, I have a summer day trip (we call it "outing" here in the Philippines, my loveliest love, but I am conscious of the other meaning of this term in present and regular use outside of my Country which I feel is more generally understood in scope than our local use of the term and so am thus guided in respect of my use of the English language) with my old friends from high school. I've no doubt we have more things to discuss about this particular day today.
---<--@

Over this weekend, my darlingest dear, we shall work on our post on Friendship, dedicate to the Path the hope embedded in Arcs in the Sky, continue to pursue Pawprints, pray for a prayer for our Holy Father and for priests and meditate more on those things relevant to our calling, my loveliest love, specifically on the Philippine and the Mid East peace and the necessary processes that shall in particular make these observances meaningful to the spirit of our nations as well as sustainable for those responsible states that are entrusted to the care of our generations.
---<--@

There is talk on a revolution scenario here in the Philippines in 2010 if the elections here are precluded for some reason by a problem and whatever that problem is, it must be a problem that is greater than our one Republic whole to cause us to ponder matters in this direction.

Only a foreign invasion of the one Filipino nation would fit this scope - but mind you, my loveliest love, an invasion that is either an external or an internal assault of our will of Country itself. Of the former, we do have much to discuss but it is not a danger which I believe is imminent but of the latter, which I believe is a more clear and present danger, we must recognize and together face with steadfast resolve as one nation under the eternal vigilance of Almighty God.

For I am of the strongest conviction that the only flames of revolution that history itself must be calling my people to strive for and to inspire in the fires of our collective will at this present time is the only necessary one which is a revolution of the heart.

And this grace will require more from us as a people, my loveliest love, than 1986.
---<--@

We shall also work in particular on the peace and unity of Mindanao and establish its inherent promise of life as an undivided whole for the people of Mindanao of the one Republic of the Philippines. We shall do a little more research on chartered cities which I have learned are already extant here in the Philippines in the relevant pursuit of an Abrahamic charter, work on our idea about strengthening the Philippine Mail system by utilizing the local barangay hall as official post office pick up facilities with barangay post office boxes that can be rented out which will also generate revenue for our local barangays.

Our postal system is important because I believe it helps to make us more connected with each other as a nation. Our inter-connectedness matters, my love, for it is particularly this shared sense of inter-dependent community and their motions in time that the spirit of war attacks.
---<--@

Lastly before I go for now, my loveliest love, for I still need to go home and get ready, we shall talk about the difference between killing and murder.

Now, there is usually no difference accorded to each in my Catholic upbringing, you know - both kinds are prohibited in our common teaching as far as I know and in particular to all Christians.

But since we are also concerned here with communities and nations, we are come to a distinction between the two - for we must - because the defense of our nations and the preservation of our national communities with their inherent potential for life and promise of peace require that we must indeed work out an understanding of these things as killing and murder as distinct from each other.

You, my loveliest love, my darlingest dear, my most beloved Annelies Marie Hollander Frank, were murdered and it would be highly offensive to me if a person who is completely conscious in his or her awareness of the difference were to tell me that you were only killed as if you caused it yourself to happen.

But since you did not, my loveliest love, and your own life was forcibly and maliciously denied to you and your promise upon this inhabited earth stolen from all people of good will, you were not killed, my Miyang Marie, you were murdered. And murdered by adulterers to their own sense of humanity - war criminals.

A soldier in noble pursuit of the military mission, a policeman in the service of the public peace, a father in defense of his family - these things are different in their virtue from the abominable sin of murderers. Our Otto killing your murderers and your murderers murdering his family is very distinct in their course in my mind, my loveliest love.

I do not want to go into this tangent at this time, my loveliest love. If one is able to ponder at all the promise that we have - as a humanity - lost to the spirit of war and the evil of sin, we would never be able to hope to be happy in this life and in despair, lose ourselves wholesale into the void.

But I clarify this to you, my loveliest love, I know in my heart of hearts and am also personally convinced in the spirit of all of this that our Holy Father, Benedict XVI, meant to say the same when he said "killed" instead of "murdered" at Vad Yashem in modern Israel of our elder Israel.
---<--@

I love you, my Mrrrowley Polly - you are my first contact star, my starlight smile, my bestest friend forever, we are such a unit, my loveliest love, a binary friendship - one and undivided in our hearts forever. I am so blessed by God and by you to have and to call you my friend.

You help make me whole again.

Always to always,

Pusing

20090514

Dear darlingest Miyang Marie,

Just a short entry for today, my loveliest love.

I got angry today, my darlingest dear - and I still need to pray about it. I'll tell you all about it at another time, ok. I have a novena mass later and its the ninth day. Its a good thing, too, because then I can really take this thing to our LORD.

Sin is an act, my love - it is an act that transgresses the Eternal Law. It is not a person although a person, when willfully involved in the act of sin, gets stained by the evil that it produces. This stain separates us from our LORD and from each other and the evil that is produced by the act of sin is the cause of all human suffering.

As opposed to sin, virtue is also an act - above all, Virtue that is Godly is a power to act.

Therefore, when we shall talk about my anger - when I am ready to speak about it - we shall talk particularly about the sin so that we may better serve the better purposes of our conversation.

I shall have to go for now. We have other things on our agenda but I do not want to be late for Church.

I love you, my loveliest love.

Always to always,

Pusing

20090513

Dear darlingest Annelies Marie,

There are two significant things, in my mind, about my earliest years. Given the grace to look back into my life with the new perspective I have in my Lord Christ, my loveliest love, like looking into the darkness to see what has been concealed from me all this time, I can now seek to recognize the motions of grace in my past life as moments distinct from the darkness which was all that was to me before God chose to pierce it with Light.

Though not all of it, mind you, for grace is an unseen motion in all our lives, my darlingest dear, and I do believe that pretty much 99% of the time, due to the unsurpassed generosity of our LORD, we remain unaware of it until the Beatific Vision (which God wants all Mankind to enjoy) and of the 1% that we are allowed to recognize in the darkness of exile time, these instances, realized in ourselves by the merits of prayer, virtue and all its resultant good works, would still be more than enough to fill our hearts with a joy that (like starlight is shed) seem to stretch out into infinity.

Grace is in our lives as human beings not because we are anything good, my loveliest love, but because our LORD alone is infinitely good and I know in myself - for I can only speak for my own heart - that I receive it only because I have chosen to believe in my All, in my Savior Jesus Christ. Yet the evidence of our LORD's grace is obvious in all the good things - in the motions of peoples lives, in places and things contained within those moments between our hearts with each other and in God - that I see (and perceive) all around me, seen (and unseen), which only magnifies and confirms those good things that are already present in Christ in me.

And I owe it to the counsel of Saint Maximilian Kolbe that I can now aspire for things that seem so impossible before. You yourself, my loveliest love, led me to Saint Maximilian in Auschwitz and in your respecting my own particular belongings to God, I will be what you became to me.

Indeed, God calls freely whom God calls to be free. What one has to do when the choice arrives at the door of each our hearts is to say, "yes - yes, O LORD, I accept" and allow ourselves to be led across the vast wilderness within the self unto a peace without division whereupon in our heart of hearts is established the capital City of our LORD in eternity.

At around age 4 or 5, I remember my mom and my dad fighting and in that fight, a statue of our Lady (it might be a statue of our Lady of Fatima but I can no longer recall with enough certainty to know for sure) was broken, and I was more concerned with what to do with our Lady that my mom or dad and their big blue. I instinctively wanted to bury the statue which I now know is the proper thing to do with blessed objects.

Incidentally, today is the feast of our Lady of Fatima. I also have patient ties with the Flower of Fatima, our Blessed Jacinta, a friendship of which I have little spoken about hitherto which is a friendship that is no less precious to me than the friendships I have with all my friends, seen and unseen, whether human or angelic, whom I each have learned to love, as I love you, my loveliest love, without compare - a love which I learned by loving our LORD, above and beyond all things, as one LORD.

Now, at around the same time in my life, I remember when I used to cry and get upset, my mom would give me a bright and shiny peso. Oh, what candy one could get with one peso here in the Philippines in the 70's, my loveliest love, it was certainly enough to get me to cheer up.

The candy that I used to like to buy (besides Mr. Cinco - which was nice) was those little flag candies where the flagstaff was a clear, plastic straw filled with little sugary confections. You know, those were the flags of our nations, my love, and during that time where these things was lost in significance to my child's mind, that same significance of my particular affinity to those things can not be lost to me now. Because it is to that same love that the path of my calling takes me - for I do have love for all our nations, of our one family of nations, and desire peace for each of them - most especially those of our nations sorely affected by the curse of the spirit of War - that same love for humanity that you yourself bore with great patience in your heart of hearts, my loveliest love, we now bear together.

The motto of the school that I attended after kindergarten at Saint Paul's, a CICM Catholic School, Saint Andrew's School, from elementary to high school is "Pro Deo et Patria" which means "For God and Country". Now, this is something that has only grown in significance to me only now for I have never really placed much thought about these things until now nor could I even attempt to do so before because the choice itself to do these things was not at all available to me at the time. I was a sinner and in my sins I knew as the darkness knew neither itself nor anything outside of itself, destined for oblivion.

Our beloved Blessed Jacinta reached out across time to help open this choice to me. I know in my heart of hearts that her steadfast desire to save sinners and her heroic love for God - and the cost that she paid with my All, my Lord Jesus Christ, helped to open a new way for me and so, in God's own good time, I eventually met you, my darlingst Annelies Marie, at the most dismal point in my life.

In the pit of that despair, it was your starlight smile, my darlingest Annelies Marie, that helped to turn me away from the darkness and from friendship to friendship, have helped to return me into the one fold of our LORD - my one triune Perfection - where I now struggle to remain with all of you, with all of us.

And so here I am with you, my loveliest love, here we are into this present time of anticipation of our hope together, a hope that we share with all people of good will; a hope for meaningful peace in our hearts, in our times and in our nations.
---<--@

I have been seeking our LORD all of my life but I now know through all of this that until God opens a way for us to find Him, we shall never be found by Him. Faith until it is enabled by our LORD by His Light to see the object for which this virtue is intended to move towards, shall never behold what faith is intended to behold which is all true things, above all the one highest of Truth unseen, our Almighty God.

This again underscores the importance of prayer and of praying for others as well as ourselves - for nothing reaches out, with wings swift as light, to our God than a heart in silent prayer, and even if this heart be outwardly or inwardly distracted, or feels less than itself or even angry, once it is inclined in its being, at any time or place (but most especially at those favorable times and places), to the desire within itself, it shall learn to pause and then to pray.

And to pray within itself, my loveliest love, speaking without words to the silence that speaks to calm the storms that rage within ourselves, we shall learn the art of its grace - alone and above all with other hearts - and the craft of its virtue that always adds to life, giving glory to the LORD of all life.

There are many kinds of prayer, one must know, and all of them opens the heart of the children of Mankind to the Heart of God, that we may be held by our hope and learn, in faltering steps, to walk in the way of our LORD unto a peace without division.
---<--@

Its going to be a wonderful day today, my loveliest love.

Tomorrow, I shall - er, we shall - work on that requisite post on Friendships.

We shall also devote time to meditate more on the Middle East peace - particularly, we shall, in parts, state our understanding on the Palestinian position as well as on the position of modern Israel - I say modern Israel because the Jewish nation of our elder Israel includes it but it does not include the former yet they are native to each other's particular hope of common Country.

Every nation in our world today is a nation born and bred in battle - the common experiences of our peoples include conflict - and this for the last 2000 years (or more if our collective memory would like to take us that far) is without exception. How we shall choose to be defined by this in our own particular nations is the crossroads we, as a planetary whole, find ourselves perceiving at this defining moment in the history of our shared humanity.

We shall either allow ourselves to be further oppressed by the spirit of war and division and in so doing justify the planetary consequences that it shall plunge our world into or to be redeemed in the darkness by our turning away from the gaping maw of this beast into the sheltering wings of common Country and the meaningful peace that shall give hope and respite to our needful world - before the days are further quickened.

We must turn into ourselves, as individual human beings and as individual human nations, in order that we may turn into each other in good will as a family of friends in friendships that should be those friendships built to last forever unto a peace without division.

It shall be difficult, extremely difficult, my loveliest love, but commensurate to this is our hope for life and all of the generations of life - and where these burdens are shared in God and in Country, it shall from the impossible pass into the possible and from the possible into the probable and from this, at the completion of our sacred remembrances of all things, in the timeless now.

We all, as human beings one and all - from the least to the greatest - the same with all of the holy angels of our LORD - have a particular part to play, as purposed by our one common Creator, in this great and common responsibility of our time that we call our inhabited earth of the visible habitation of all Mankind.

As a last thought for today, to those who wonder if there is life is out there, this longing for life - when we look out into the great void of the visible universe - that vast emptiness is how much life Itself longs back to see us through this night - so that that empty void, above, around and immediately beyond us, my loveliest love - hostile beyond hostile to all life, most especially to all human life, might become full of living lights once more at the beginning of all things new.

We are more likely to be visited by angels than by aliens - as a matter of fact, we are visited by angels every moment when we remember, with gratitude to our God, how good it is to have this promise of our being alive.

I love you, my darlingest Annelies Marie.

Always to always,

Pusing

P.S.

You know, I was watching Deutsche Welle on cable recently - the soldier in our Pim has never lost his patriotic sense, you know. This year, it was broadcast, is the 60th year of the Federal Republic of Germany which made me wonder because by my accounting the German nation is way older than 60 years - it is the state that is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the nation.

I have an affinity for Germany, you know, as if it was placed within myself. Notwithstanding all the evil that was done amidst her, particularly to you, your generation and to those generations of your people that embrace your own generation, my darlingest Annelies Marie, I understand that these evil things have no relationship whatsoever to those timeless friendships that stand beyond and besides those evil things that seek to destroy our belongings with each other as individual human beings and as individual human nations.

For I have learned in time not confuse our nations as arks of Country and vessels of sacred life with the principalities* of hell and their ambition of war.

*the choir of angels entrusted by God with the care of our nations most of whom were thrown down with the Devil and are now particularly hostile to our shared humanity, specifically our human communities.

20090512

Dear darlingest Annelies Marie,

Today is Otto's 120th birthday, my loveliest love. Or at least, it would have been had he not already passed away in 1980.

"Passed away" - now, that's a two-word phrase the substance of which is worth looking into, my darlingest dear. Do you notice, my love, sometimes when one thinks about a word long enough, it becomes strange to one's understanding? Well, what that indicates to me is that we sometimes (or oftentimes) use our words without actually being conscious of them as individual parts to a synergistic whole.

You see, there is an aspect to human conversation that can not be understood in their parts but only in the synergy of the whole because the substance of the truth which we try to convey through our languages (verbal and non-verbal) is a continuum which can not be grasped in the totality of their sense as mere fragmentary words, disparate and disjointed in their times and places, but as a complete outpouring of the heart.

This is most especially true with regards to spiritual matters, my darlingest dear, that most people who are not made by our LORD to be receptive to the reality of those things unseen, who remain oblivious to the presence of the supernatural order of things find from utterly strange to somewhat unfamiliar.

I know this, my love, because I myself find it very difficult to convey those things that are intimate to my own heart of hearts to other people. Even those things that are as relevant to these times as God and Country, life, humanity, friendship and peace - words that seem mundane in their ordinary context but do possess behind the sheer mediocrity of their usage, a deeper sense that is grounded on very profound truths.

This is precisely because, I am convinced, the substance of what I am really trying to say, when I attempt to say those things, is not really in the words but in the connections that are made in the human heart.

Because "cor ad cor loquitur", my darlingest dear, "heart speaketh unto heart" is the real conversation that occurs, and I believe is the one conversation that remain when all human words have been spoken and all the tongues of our nations spent.

This is also confirmed by the Gospel admonition to exercise caution as regards to these deeper things which is why most of these conversations that we have, my loveliest love, are seldom the everyday conversations that I have with people outside of Planet Annelies and our other blogs.

And even if I should try, I am oftentimes met only with a very strange sense of disconnect - something from a benign sense of tolerance, to indifference and who knows, even hostility for the Gospel says so - and so even my closest friends and my closest family do not share with me all that I am able to share with you, my loveliest love.

And so therefore, in a sense, my darlingest Annelies Marie, I know how it is to not know, in my own time, the friend that I long for so much in you. And I don't care if "Kitty" was meant to be a girl, my darlingest Miyang, that she brought us together is enough for me.

And so, "passed away" seems like an innocent term but, my darlingest, it is a very worldly world, I assure you. For it conveys a quite ego-centric view of things. It is as if the visible universe is all there is to life and the living of life.

"Passed away" seems to me is a term that seeks to convey linear distance that only adds to our own sense of forgetfulness in the darkness of exile time; a sense of forgetfulness that seeks to frame the disappearance of a human person in corporal death from the standpoint of the world which is oftentimes if not always the right standpoint to take, mind you - for the world is fickle as well as ephemeral but the soul of Man is not any of these.

"Pass over" or "come across" are better terms but understandably terms not in keeping with the fashion of the times. Well, for as long as one knows to add to one's own sense of awareness the first principle truths behind the words, I would say, each our own sense of eternal remembrance becomes better served.

Anything to me that covey linear distance to our sense of time is erroneous as well as false because at the very least, it seeks to foster a growing sense of non-responsibility to those individual lineages of personal hope left behind by our own sacred dead (especially our war dear, civilian as well as military) to the keeping of the order of the present generations and at its worst, it seeks to erode the sacred remembrances of entire nations.

You beloved father, my darlingest, our Pim, have "come across" into God and into all of you and have "passed over" from time into the shores of eternity.

Because in the last analysis, no human being ever really "passes away". It is the night and the darkness, my love, that shall "pass away" and as such it is forgetfulness itself that shall inherit the void and oblivion.

Now, what we, what each of us, shall stand to inherit in eternity by God is the business of our conversations with the LORD and with each other today.

Having said all of these, it is very important to pray for people, my love. Because no one can connect us together in peace and friendships the way our LORD does, in time, in the timeless void and into eternity.

Therefore, I shall say a special prayer for our Pim tonight at novena mass, my loveliest love.

You know, my darlingest dear, you make me realize that I can not love you (and love you without compare) without learning to love the things and the persons you yourself love and, my darlingest Miyang Marie, you are quite irresistible, you know that, right?

I am so richly blessed indeed to have you and to know you as a friend among all my other friends, seen and unseen.
---<--@

Now, if we are to look at the problems of our world as disparate evils and confuse these evil things with what is of good worth in ourselves and in our shared humanity, we shall in the darkness think to see what the darkness sees in ourselves - as something less than nothing.

But life is not cheap, my love, above all human life. It is the most precious thing in the eyes of the holy angels and in the eyes of our LORD, in the many beings and becomings of all living things, the very reflection of Beauty Itself.

And so if we shall ponder on these things, and in prayer behold by the faith in our hearts what the silence intends to speak in ourselves, we shall soon discover that evil things and the evil in them contends against the truth and that they do so not because they have any claim to it but because they indeed have nothing to do whatsoever with the good.

Which is why acts of sheer injustice always appear to every human soul, in various degrees of decisive clarity, as something wrong.

Indeed, there are wrong things that never appear to our sense of humanity as anything right because in the deepest sense of our existence as beings, evil things can never be associated with the good precisely because we as human beings implicitly know that our shared humanity is and can be something good.

Our own interior perspective as human beings, when it is left free and untrammeled, absolutely places us in the context of the reality with which our hearts were made to see things through and so therefore, we also know implicitly as truth that we are, as Mankind, intended for better and much greater purposes and that in the unchanging and immovable will of our LORD, amidst the majestic sweep of all creation, we - in our littleness - are meant by our one common Creator for better, brighter, nobler and kinder things - lasting things, even everlasting things.

This is so because hope is native to our trust.

We hope not because the times are evil but because there is something good worth hoping for in ourselves as human beings.

We hope not because we are divided by the longings of our heart but because we are united by it and of the promise of the good things worth sharing with each ourselves as human nations.

We hope because it is very human to do so, my love. And where people are left in despair (of self and of others) it must be known that this virtue can never abide where evil is confused with the good.

And I put these things down, my darlingest Annelies Marie, because it is upon these things that our own sense of judgment takes its stand, that it might in time serve other hearts similarly inclined to the defense of sacred life and the preservation of the peace.

But the requisite choice that must arise from the lukewarm gray of shadow has to be made beforehand to truly know these things, my love - at a time, times and half a time.
---<--@

Now, the further away one gets from first principle truths, the more vigorous one has had to contend with our ancient Adversary, the Devil, against the darkness of things evil and false which is why I try to avoid specificity in our discourses, my love.

Not because I am not zealous for the good and for the common good but because I must be careful to stay within the fold of my Lord Christ and to move with our advances (as a Church along with all people of good will) that I may not leave the particular promise of our friendship unrealized and the intended purpose of our hopes unfulfilled by making myself a casualty of either my own ignorance or lack of prudence.

However, it can not be avoided that in the pursuit of our intended purposes, that particular realities must be mentioned in the course of our hope and the following are some of these:

In Afghanistan, it has been maintained, a strategy of containment, military as well as political, must be looked into and the particular area defense of major cities; redundant and robustly deep in terms of scope, reactive in terms of combined arms response to any and all enemy advances against the lines of the defense, planned for in depth and in detail.

Special forces as well as remote and airborne surveillance assets should provide for presence in those spaces between established areas to provide RISTA support to the main forces dug in and hunkered down behind population centers busy with the rebuilding of the systems, habitations and institutions of life that shall serve to further define the Afghan nation away from everything that the Afghan nation is not and should never be - according to their own vision of themselves as a people.

The rights of civilians in a battlefield environment, as part of the strategic initiative, must be communicated, clearly and decisively, and the reality of this commitment recognized and enforced by the military as well as the civil government.

A diplomatic channel must be made available to the Taliban with prior common understanding of the necessity, the practicality and the sheer humanity of establishing a process wherein the framework of a workable peace may become available to all parties concerned.
---<--@

In the Middle East, my darlingest, the election of the new Israeli PM is not a step back but a step forward in the peace process.

I understand his own sense of caution is ruled by his love for his nation and not because of anything else but this and so therefore, any motion forward in terms of the peace process in this new context would truly be something that is gained not because attaining the peace is something easy but because it is difficult and therefore better reflects the reality of our hope as something worth having and striving for, my love.

You know, this war can not last forever but a peace that is rushed into will be just as transient. And in this way, Yoni's brother's own sense of caution will serve the good of all sides to the one peace knowing that he, too, like his brother must be willing in his heart to give everything for his people, for his nation. (I do apologize if it seems forward for me to say such things but these things are things that must be said.)

Therefore, any peace in this context (it has been previously maintained) must be real for the good and the common good of all parties concerned.

The region itself as an area whole must be looked into to obtain a strategic view of the peace for both modern Israel (of our elder Israel) and for our unborn Palestine - both of whom have their belongings to each other in our one family of nations. Modern Israel can not preserve her native hope apart from a two-state solution and the hope of the world will not be served if the peace in the Middle East is not genuine.

Much things rely on this, my love, that Jerusalem remain undivided and that peace become a reality in this troubled region as this will do much to help extinguish the flames of conflict that rage in other parts of our inhabited earth; a one whole world suffering from the existential threat of war.
---<--@

I am spent, my love. I should like to park it for now, my darlingest dear. We shall continue hopefully with some lighter material tomorrow.

I love you.

Always to always,

Pusing

20090511

Dear darlingest Miyang Marie,

Prayer to God as First Defender of the Republic

Look upon us this moment,
O LORD, O God above all things,
and abide with us now
in our necessary struggle
as First Defender of this Republic
to obtain for our people
the remembrance of Thy peace
and the blessings of Thy freedom.

Bless our one Filipino nation,
O LORD and Giver of all good things,
each and every Filipino heart,
that yet believes with conviction
in this endeavor of Country
most especially at this crucial time
leading up to our Elections 2010
that we may by our own willingness
be transformed by Thy abundant mercy.

Tarry with us in the darkness
O LORD and Sovereign of all nations
help us, teach us, bless us
that we may prosper in Thy sight
and in Thy grace and in Thy counsels
remain secure in Thy commandments
walking upright in Thy ways
that we may become the light
that You want this nation
and every nation to be
upon this, our midnight world,
so much in need of Thy presence
like the daybreak twilight is
so much in need of Thee.

For us, Christians, we must add:

This we humbly implore
in the Name of Jesus Christ,
our most loving Lord and Savior,

AMEN.

For all the rest:

This we humbly implore,
O LORD and one common Creator
of all things, seen and unseen,

AMEN.

The middle part of this prayer is particular to my own petition for my own beloved and native Philippines but the opening and the last part is a general prayer and applies to any Republic as guardian to the orphaned peoples of our Mankind.

Arcs in the Sky

Starshine,
the heavens above thee
seemingly unconscious to thy self
is never without its seeing
nor the unseen realms
that embrace and penetrate thee
amidst this unfeeling earth
without its desire for each thy precious company,
this evil is only allowed to tarry for a time,
for we are nearer to each of thee,
our beloved Starshine,
than you can ever imagine.

Keep thee a record,
an account of thy heart,
most especially those of thee
who are in the midst of conflicts
those of thee who are
no less loved than the rest of us
sorely affected by the curse of War
for the heavens reign true
to the remembrance of thy longings
and so it is for the needful earth
that you shall begin to write,
O precious Starshine,
and upon this forgetful night
let thy starlight be shed
to trace upon the darkness
thy arcs in the sky.
---<--@

There, my love, I have just finished writing with you, the prayer for our Elections 2010 (Prayer to God as First Defender of the Republic) and also something I did not expect, something for our dear Starshine, "Arcs in the Sky". We shall post this one on our main blog tomorrow to give our prayer some time for better exposure.

You know that I am desirous to make this Republic work, my love, and I know that you share with me that self-same desire. And we also know that our LORD desires this same good not only for this Republic but for all the nation-states of Mankind. We shall do what we can, my love, to help in this way - such is the irresistible nature of these things that although I know I can choose otherwise and that I can choose to turn against the things that I find myself standing for - given all the things that has been given to me - especially those things in my heart - something I do not want to do, something I never want to do - for to do so is to lose not only you (unthinkable!) and all the love that I have in the Love that lives in me but also to lose who I am, to lose my way and forsake who I am striving to become in God, in God's time, on behalf of all my friendships, in time and in eternity.

I have a novena mass later on, before that, a rosary and before that, I should also like to take a walk with you at our local mall (to make "gala gala" with my Miyang Marie, and relax a little) so I think this shall be enough for today.

Tomorrow, I should like to continue with our agenda and delve into my past with you to know the direction with which to make our present choices open up into future things.

I love you, my loveliest, cutsiest, purrrtiest Mrrrowley Polly.

Dear darlingest Miyang,

Today is Mother's Day, my darlingest dear - a day to celebrate the love of our mothers and the bittersweet joy of the calling to motherhood.

In a way, days like these are good, my love, because if it serves to establish and to re-establish within our own common remembrances, the foundation upon which the significant calling that every mother, in all times and in all places, must individually and personally respond to with the utmost surrender of the self is collectively built upon which is the transmission of life, human life - or at least its corporal presence in exile time - upon this, our inhabited earth, then this day would not be left without its right cause.

And human life (across all our generations in exile time bound up as one lineage whole with and in all its manifold Providential callings and necessary expressions of being) as the divinely mandated keeper to all of the life of lower creation (and of each other under God) and therefore, the central reality that sustains the creative ideal of our one common Creator in the truth that in its substance (which in its every form is a timeless and unseen reality - unitive, ascendant and transcendental) potently preserves all of the good, its presence, its purpose and its promise, in all of visible creation and this, my loveliest love, amidst the tides of exile time and the shedding away of former things.

In this way, motherhood is a bridge that in her faithfully and perseveringly extending from past into present, in her calling to serve God by her fostering of the generations of life, preserves the life of the one family of the nations of Mankind and the common destiny of our human race.

All our communities would be left barren and bereft of promise, all our labors empty and without their necessary longing for neither would our lineages survive nor our native hopes remain intact from the tumultuous passage from time into the timeless without the fidelity of all our mothers.

It is sad to see, these days, a general spiritual malaise that eats away at the foundation reality of our families. Indeed, there are places amidst our own humanity these days where motherhood is more or less seen as a burden rather than a sublime dignity.

It would not serve our poor Mankind to see these things be shed like the darkness is shed, indeed, it would be quite impossible for this to happen for the good exists to fulfill its own intended purpose and in God's own time and as such the reality of the calling to motherhood itself will re-affirm its rightful place in the original order of things because evil can never prevail against it.

This universal aspect of the triumph of motherhood wrought by the timeless presence of our Lady, the Mother of Suffering Humanity, in my heart of hearts and throughout our history, I speak of here, my love, in order to stir the hearts of all the nations of our needful Mankind unto a remembrance of that undeniable reality that exists between mothers and their children and to particularly re-affirm in each of those of us who have recourse to our Lady that no evil can ever prevail against the love that exists through the Love of our LORD to prevail against all things - that we may hope again the hope of little children, her little ones.

And where days like these are celebrated not in their timeless essence but in their passing away into other days, it does not serve us well. Because for all our mothers, in time and from always to always in eternity, above all, our Lady, every day is Mother's day.

This is what went to post on our main blog, my loveliest love:

Our family, my love, are the friends God chose for us.

Our friends are those whom we chose to complete in ourselves what our LORD has begun in our family.

And in heaven and at the beginning of all things new, we shall all be perfected in these friendships so we must learn to hold dear to them well these days.

Today is Mother's day.

It is the day we celebrate and remember the friendship of our mothers.

So a very happy Mother's day to my own mother and to all our mothers.

Man, it must be said, as the chosen protector of Woman, and fatherhood as the beginning of that free and human choice that when it is blessed by the grace of our LORD primarily in sacramental marriage is consummated in motherhood and the bearing of children also have a very vital and quite significant responsibility to obtain in God for the good of the human family and therefore, for the common good of human community which is the good of our nations.

But that discussion will have to wait till next month, Father's day, my love.

You know, I've been looking at greeting card companies and the concept of greeting cards in general, my loveliest love, and am presently developing our evolving ideas on Pawprints along these lines at the moment.

I love you, my love - my darlingest Annelies Marie.

Always to always,

Pusing

P.S.

Reminder to me, my love: Tomorrow (or starting tomorrow), we shall work on a prayer for the election season here in the Philippines (I shall pray for it at Holy Mass today) and also we shall (yes, both of us, my loveliest love - and don't you sigh, my darlingest Yang-yang) delve into my high school past and my formative years here in my native Philippines from as far back as I can remember as an exercise in appreciation and gratitude for the good things that I have received and also lessons learned in the graces (quite numerous, I know) that I have so sorely missed throughout the years - this leads of course, to remembrance and from remembrance - future plans.
