Dear darlingest Annelies Marie,

The evil in evil things, my love, as a general rule, becomes aware of us when we become aware of it. This spirit of evil, my love, conscious of our being aware of it, constantly seeks to make itself part of our will, that it may have free access to our hearts. This seeking is commonly manifest in various temptations that like a horde of rabid beasts, lay constant siege at the very door of our hearts, ever plotting diverse ways from secret and subtle to violent and overt to make their final assault against the threshold of our souls. And their way of temptation, my love, always, always involves one thing - a lie. This lie is a venom that once accepted by our will as truth corrupts the line of our common defense from within, causing much to deny from our hearts, the promise of many, many things.

Now, that is the mildest way that I can put, what terrific harm the Devil and his fallen angels can cause to the souls of our native humanity, and by direct extension to the spheres of sacred life that fall under the special care and specific protection of the stewardship of the one family of the nations of Mankind. For as every nation is a scion of our generations each of which is a one whole lineage in time sprung from our one parental inheritance as human beings, they are kindred in form; their visible form. And as every nation is established by an everlasting Covenant before the LORD, each of our nations is kindred also in their natures; their invisible natures.

I have to go for now, my love. There is yet much to be gathered, I know in my heart, from our further meditation on these things - and we will gather with them.

For all things visible are all things sprung from the substance of invisible things, were we to envision something as lasting as human civilization without careful consideration on the things beyond the veil of this fleeting world that truly last, it would be reckless - but knowingly doing so, that is not our work.

I love you.

Always to always,

Pusing

P.S.

By the way, I have been thinking about the concept of a secondary capital and I believe it would be advantageous to establish one, rather, two here in the Philippines as well - one in Mindanao and another in the Visayas; that would work - in their proper seasons - to eliminate attenuation in the executive will, put our Congress in the locality and our juridical institutions disciplined by even proximity to the will of state. These cities, especially the one in Mindanao, would acquire the charter that would allow them to possess the Abrahamic vision of the "New Cordova" that we are still presently trying to make clear in the eye of our mind. Now, each nation is unique in its course and so we must understand that there are some things in the application that should only belong to a particular nation.

However, all things particular to this specific endeavor of Country shall be as naught if War in the Philippines shall be allowed to persist for these visions do not belong in that paradigm, my love.

I have also been thinking of our common market and its inherent potential - of a suitable heavy industry, of something maritime in nature - like shipbuilding - a very viable thing depending on other things - on tourism, resource conservation, proper waste disposal, honorable citizenship - etc. I have also been thinking of other nations, those who are in need in the same way that we are in need - which ultimately means all our nations - at this present time, least to greatest - of the one family of the nations of Mankind but specifically those who are most affected by the curse of War.

We have to muster in our Republic will, the strength to turn away from this present darkness that seem to cover this, our inhabited earth, with a murky blight that makes our kindred nations strangers to one another.

Lastly, in my own view - the war in Afghanistan can not be won by military means alone - there must also begin a real political dialogue between the sides who are involved in her interest. It must be understood in the pursuit of lasting peace that there are things particular to Afghanistan as herself without which her people shall be restless. Both sides must understand that their will must take this into its regard - that Afghanistan herself as a whole must be given time to find her own peace - without which no vision of Country shall take rest from among the Afghan people.

Once again, each nation is unique in its course and so we must understand that there are some things in the application that should only belong to a particular nation - but that all belong to one family, that all belong to life, and none to death.

In the interim, static area defense, most especially focused on the major cities that relieve the area population and allow for the building of the habitations, systems and institutions of life, reactive deployment and not proactive manoeuvre should be the gist of operations. I shall not linger on the specifics as I have already proposed this type of defense in the past in one of my posts - many months back.
